What our Seminar Management offers

Ensuring a
clear overview

nectar LMS provides a comprehensive seminar calendar, giving learners a clear overview of all their scheduled sessions. A click on the calendar entry takes learners directly to the seminar.

On their personal dashboards, instructors can also enter their availability directly into the system. When planning seminars, the LMS automatically indicates whether or not someone is available.

Capacity limits?
The LMS thinks ahead

Seminars in nectar LMS give you complete control over participation and scheduling. Each individual session can be configured with minimum and maximum capacity limits, with automatic notifications sent to learners, supervisors, and instructors whenever changes occur.

Sessions that do not reach the minimum number of participants can be cancelled automatically, with timely notifications sent to both learners and instructors. For high-demand sessions, users can join a waiting list and be added automatically as spots become available — or selected manually by an administrator.

Distribute responsibility –
with complete flexibility

The standard roles in nectar LMS are designed to enable seamless seminar management. Instructors can upload documents, view participants, and record attendance. Organizers manage participant lists — from waiting lists to deregistrations — while Tutors can create and schedule new seminars. Supervisors also have the ability to enroll and unenroll their team members in seminars.

If none of the standard roles meet your needs, you can easily configure a custom role tailored to your specific requirements.

From Planning
to Execution

nectar LMS covers every aspect of seminar management – from cost tracking to instructor assignments. All key information can be defined when creating seminars and individual sessions. With the Roomplan, you can easily track which locations, rooms, and resources are being used, by whom and when.

Comprehensive seminar statistics provide insights into individual sessions, entire seminars, associated costs, and instructor activity.

Seminars and sessions can also be saved as templates — saving you time and simplifying future planning.

Flexible control,
assign precisely

nectar LMS offers flexible and powerful tools for managing meeting participants. Capacity limits, seat reservations, and participation requests give you full control over who can attend your events, while approval workflows and prerequisite skills ensure that learners access only the learning units best suited to them.

You can also define enrollment and unenrollment periods to manage participation exactly as planned. For user-specific training, seminars and meetings can be hidden from users who are not enrolled by administrators.

Each function is supported by automated system messages, keeping learners, instructors, and administrators informed at every step.
